There are three different programs available to adoptive families:

• Adoption-Only
• Adoption through Foster Care
• Legal-Risk Adoption

Each program involves certain conditions, benefits and risks, as described in the following overviews. You should also recognize that the foster care and/or adoption process can be emotionally challenging for many families. Thus, it is very important to fully understand your options and carefully consider your decision.
